Method & Rationale

This methods perfectly fits to small topics, which can be divided into two independent parts.

Description

It can be used to start with new topics. Each students gets one of the prepared texts und gets familiar with it. He is allowed to ask the teacher, if he has problems.
Afterwards the students are placed in pairs. Ideally you have two circles one in the other (like a ball-bearing). If this is not possible you can just turn around every second row.
The students of group A now explain their text to the once of group B. Then students change partners and the students of group B explain their text to the students of group A. Now every student has heard about both texts. Next rounds will help to fix the knowledge.
After another change of partners, the students of group A explain what they have heard about the text B to the students of group B. The partner has to correct, if they had understood something wrong and add details, which they had not hear yet. A last change of partners follows and students of group B now explain the text A to the other group.
Now every student has once heard and explained each text. He has worked with four different partners. Last step will be, that each groups summarize the text and do some learning material.
The ball-bearing-methods reaches 100% of the students and takes care of different learning styles.
